- Event Name: Titans Chess Championship 2025 (3rd Edition and First Classical Edition)
- Dates: 9th – 11th January 2025
- Time: Matches start daily at 8:00 AM
- Venue: Social Science Faculty, Management, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State
- Format: FIDE Rated | Classical Time Control (60 minutes + 30 seconds increment)
- Rounds: 8 Rounds (Swiss System Pairing) | 3 rounds daily (2 on last day)

Open Category:
- 1st Place: ₦100,000
- 2nd Place: ₦75,000
- 3rd Place: ₦50,000
- 4th Place: ₦40,000
- 5th Place: ₦30,000
- 6th Place: ₦15,000
- 7th Place: ₦10,000
Female Category:
- 1st Place: ₦30,000
- 2nd Place: ₦20,000
- 3rd Place: ₦10,000
UNIZIK Category:
- 1st Place: ₦40,000
- 2nd Place: ₦30,000
- 3rd Place: ₦20,000
Under-20 Category:
- 1st Place: ₦40,000
- 2nd Place: ₦30,000
- 3rd Place: ₦20,000
Under-14 Category:
- 1st Place: ₦20,000
- 2nd Place: ₦10,000
Special Note: The Best Junior Player will also receive registration, accommodation, and transport support to a major upcoming chess event.

Since this tournament is FIDE rated, all players are required to have a FIDE ID. If you do not already have one:

1. Who can participate? Anyone interested in chess, regardless of experience level, can participate. We have categories for all ages and skill levels.
2. How do I know my registration is confirmed? You will receive a confirmation message via WhatsApp after submitting proof of payment.
3. What is the format of the tournament? The tournament will follow the Swiss System pairing format with 8 rounds of classical time control.
4. Is accommodation provided? Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, we can recommend nearby affordable hotels. Also, if you are a junior / youth, you can pair with your friend on UNIZIK Campus. Note: Best Junior Player receives full accommodation support for the next major event.
5. Is there a deadline for registration : Yes, The Registration deadline is the 7th of January 2025
